Wandering Tiger‘s Humbug!

An atmospheric and immersive Christmas experience taking place throughout Exeter’s oldest building. Join Ebenezer Scrooge on a journey through past, present and future in this theatrical reimagining of Charles Dickens’ classic ghost story A Christmas Carol.

Following sell-out runs in previous years, Humbug! returns to St Nicholas Priory this December. Expect live music, video projections and plenty of festive cheer!

Recommended age 8+

We have completely Covid-secured the building and ask you to wear face coverings, stick to social-distancing rules, and adhere to government guidelines. Please follow our stewards’ instructions when in the building, and be prepared to wait outside until we have ensured it is safe for you and yours to enter.

St Nicholas Priory can get quite cold in winter so warm layers and coats are highly recommended.

This is a promenade performance. Some seating will be available during the show but there may be sections where you are required to stand. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this historic venue, Humbug! is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Doors open 30 minutes before the show. We are unable to admit latecomers once a performance has started so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

The show lasts approximately 80 minutes and there is no interval.

The use of cameras and mobile phones is strictly prohibited.
