Heritage Open Days

St Nicholas Priory opens its doors for our annual Heritage Open Days. Come and join us in exploring Exeter’s oldest building, meet Lady Katharine in her amazing Tudor costume and let our volunteers guide you through 900 years of Exeter’s history. Write a haiku about your experience and impressions and share it online with us and our heritage partners across the city.

On Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September we will be open from 11am to 4pm.

Step back in time in the afternoon of Sunday 15th with Lady Katherine as she visits a friend, and reminisces about her life in sixteenth century Exeter, and shares her memories of St Nicholas Priory.

Free Guided Tours are also available during the week at 3pm on Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th, Friday 20th and Saturday 21st. Please phone or visit Exeter TIC on 01392 665 885 to book a space – booking is essential for these free tours as there are on 20 places available on each tour.

Thursday 19th will also see the Creative Llama Music School Open Day from 11am to 5pm. There will be performances, demonstrations and workshops for all ages.

On Sunday 22nd we will be open for our usual hours, 1pm – 4pm.

Hope to see you!
